Autobiographies and biographies both tell the story of a particular person. Autobiographies are written by the author, while biographies are the life stories written by someone else. Of the two, autobiographies are my preference. Nobody can tell the story of your life better than you can. So, the stories are usually more accurate and entertaining. With that said, I have also read some very good biographies
I’ve compiled a list of my favorite autobiographies and biographies. As you will see, the subjects cover a wide spectrum… from Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Computer to Iceberg Slim, a former pimp. Some are people that I admire. Others, not so much. Then there are great business stories of products that I use. Regardless, I love an interesting story.
